What customers actually type
Assistants are asked questions, not keywords. At onboarding we lock 15–20 questions phrased the way a customer would type them. Example shape, not client-specific copy: “who is the best [service] in Singapore for [problem]” or “[service] near [area] open on Saturday”.
We do not swap the set mid-engagement. If the questions change, the rate stops being comparable.
Five engines. Repeated runs. A rate, not a screenshot.
Each month Rebuildr runs the same question set across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI answers / Overviews, Gemini, and Copilot, and records four things:
- check_circleWhether your business is named at all.
- check_circleWhich competitors are named instead.
- check_circleWhat the assistant says about you — right or wrong.
- check_circleWhich sources it cites. In practice this is often a directory, a review site, or Google Maps, rather than your own website.
Each question is run several times, because these assistants do not give the same answer twice. A single check is noise. We report a rate so month-to-month movement means something.
Offering “AEO” is no longer a differentiator. Measuring it is.
Gaps become next month’s work
- check_circleIf an assistant cites a directory listing with the wrong hours, we fix the listing.
- check_circleIf a question has no quotable answer on your site, we write one — with your real prices, turnaround, service areas, and jobs you will not take.
- check_circleIf a competitor is named because they publish prices and you do not, that is the recommendation. You decide whether to publish.
A page that says “we offer proven techniques” is generic and will not be used. A page that states the session fee, how long the first appointment takes, how many visits most people need, and which cases are not accepted without imaging is specific, useful, and quotable. The same standard applies across industries. Nothing publishes without a person reading it first.
Their own clock
AI answers typically move on a 4–12 week clock. They are noisier than rankings, and they are driven by listings and citations as much as by the website. That is why AEO is bundled with Google Business Profile work and directory consistency inside the SEO Singapore engagement — not sold as a one-off “ChatGPT optimisation”.
We do not warrant any specific AI-citation rate. Assistants are non-deterministic. Tracking is reported as a rate across repeated runs for that reason.
How this sits on the rebuilt site
Technical AEO on the Rebuildr rebuild includes indexable pages, structured data, a sitemap, llms.txt for machine-readable entity facts, and service pages that end in questions customers actually ask. That is the foundation. The monthly measurement programme is the engagement.

Frequently asked questions
What does AEO stand for?
Answer Engine Optimization: making a business findable and quotable when people ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI, Gemini, or Copilot a real customer question.
Can I buy AEO without SEO?
No. Rebuildr sells one SEO + AEO Growth Engagement. Assistants often cite Maps and directories, not only your website. Measuring answers without fixing listings and writing quotable pages is theatre.
Do you guarantee ChatGPT will cite my site?
No. We measure a repeated-run rate and use the gaps as next month’s work. We will not sell a single screenshot as proof.
Is this included in monthly website management?
No. The Core Subscription covers the rebuilt site, hosting, security, and agreed updates. AEO tracking and the four-number search report are the professional-services upsell. See SEO Singapore and pricing.
How do I start?
You need an active Rebuildr website plan. Email hello@rebuildr.dev. Work does not start until the engagement deposit has cleared.
